Wednesday School Day Still in Limbo, CL&P Still Working to Restore Power
Expect another announcement at 8 p.m.
School officials still do not know if they will have power restored at Vernon Center Middle School, Rockville High School and Center Road School in time for a system-wide day of classes on Wednesday.
"Unfortunately, we cannot tell at this time," Superintendent of Schools Mary Conway said.
An alert went out to parents, caregivers and guardians at 4:03 p.m.

Conway said Connecticut Light & Power crews are working toward full electrical restoration.
She said she is planning another announcement for 8 p.m.
