The Velvet Touch is excited to announce new talent! Erin White, a long time Ellington resident, is the newest addition to the VT family.
Erin brings with her 10 years of experience, with passion for coloring and creating cutting edge looks for her clients. Beth had the pleasure of sitting down with her this week to bring you a Q & A session for you to get to know Erin a little better!
Beth : What is your favorite service to perform??

Erin : I love experimenting with different colors and short fun texturized haircuts. A day when I can help someone feel beautiful about who they are when they leave my chair…inside and out…is a great day in my book!
Beth : When you aren’t doing hair…what are we most likely to see you doing??

Erin : Spending time with my husband, Carl, and two daughters Olive and Lilah. I also like traveling, especially going into the City!
Beth : What is most likely to be playing in your car?
Erin : Indie music!
Beth : Hair aside, what is your favorite part of being a stylist?
Erin : I love listening to people’s stories and getting to know them on a deeper level.
Beth : You mentioned before that you like experimenting with color and cuts, can you expand on that?
Erin : I love when clients challenge themselves and see their full potential of how good they can look in a different style! Switching things up every now and then is a good thing! Of course, with a new style comes a new home routine…I enjoy teaching every customer how to recreate their new fabulous look at home!
Beth : Three things nobody knows about you…ready, set, go!
Erin : I am a great basketball player, closet Neil Diamond fan, and I am a chicken farmer!!
Beth : Wow…I didn’t see that coming!
