Woman Arrested for Alleged Child Neglect
Police: Woman charged with two counts of leaving child in car.
A Vernon woman has been arrested and charged with leaving a child unsupervised in a car on two occasions, police said.
Krista Marie Watkinson, 26, of 60 Old Town Road - the Ryefield Condominium complex - had an outstanding arrest warrant against her for two counts of leaving a child unattended in a motor vehicle between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
She was located at her home at 10 p.m. on Thursday, police said
Police said she was released on an $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 28.
