Woman Charged for Prostitution out of Vernon Motel
Police detailed particulars of the case in an arrest warrant.

VERNON, CT — A woman has been charged with prostitution for soliciting "escort" services and meeting someone for sex at a motel off Route 30 in Vernon, police said.
The 46-year-old, was arrested on Tuesday based on probable cause for a Sept. 1 incident, according to an arrest warrant. She was living at the hotel, police said in an arrest warrant
At 4:01 p.m. that day, officers were called to a local hotel for a welfare check. As they were about to clear the scene, the officers noticed a white female standing outside one of the motel entrances wearing high heels and "short, provocative shorts." A man then pulled up in a pickup truck, exited the vehicle, hugged the woman, and followed her into the motel, according to the warrant.

An advertisement placed on a service called "Backpage" was traced to the woman and she eventually claimed ownership of the ad after several rounds of questioning, according to the warrant. The ad was for escort services and stated, "I want you for breakfast ... you can have me for dessert," and the picture matched the woman in appearance, according to the warrant.
She met the man twice for one encounter that involved sex and another that involved drugs, according to the warrant. The sexual encounter involved an exchange of $150 for a half-hour of the woman's time but the warrant indicates she told police the man was there for less than 30 minutes.
