Woman Hit, Killed In Vernon Crash: Police
A pedestrian was killed in a Vernon crash, police said.
VERNON, CT — A woman was killed after police said she was hit by a car in Vernon Tuesday night, police said. The crash happened at about 10 p.m. at 333 Talcottville Road, the local address for state Route 83.
Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Route 83 was closed for some time between Dobson and Merline roads.
