Woman Taken From Vernon Sidewalk To Hospital With Possible Overdose
A woman found asleep on a sidewalk in Rockville was rushed to the hospital over the weekend, Vernon police said.

VERNON, CT — A woman found passed out on a sidewalk in the Rockville section of Vernon over the weekend was rushed to a area hospital because of potential drug overdose, police said.
According to a police report, at 2:12 a.m. Saturday, officers encountered a man and a woman asleep on the sidewalk across from the Dollar General store at 38 East Main St.
Both seemed impaired, according to a police report.

Police said the man, a 34-year-old from Middletown, admitted to using "multiple substances" with the woman, who was not identified in a report. He was arrested and charged with the use of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
The woman began showing signs of an overdose and was transported to an area hospital for treatment, according to the report.
