Worker at Old Mill Complex in Vernon Quickly Douses Motorcycle Fire: Police

The worker reacted quickly , police said.

VERNON, CT — A quick-thinking worker managed to extinguish a burning motorcycle at 200 West Main St. on Monday afternoon, police said.

It turned out to be a minor incident, police said.

The motorcycle was on a lift at the old Hockanum Mill complex being renovated by Kaplan Computers, police said. The employee took care of the fire quickly, police said.
