1 Killed In Crash On Route 15 In Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — One person was killed in a crash that closed a portion of Route 15 in Wallingford early Thursday morning, according to fire officials.

The crash involved a vehicle into a tree between Exits 63 and 64 on Route 15 North, according to the North Haven Fire Department.

One person was confirmed dead at the scene, officials wrote in a post on Facebook.

Route 15 North was closed in the area around 5:30 a.m. but has since reopened.
