2 Dead After Car Hits Tree On CT Highway, IDs Released: Police
The accident happened early Saturday morning on southbound Route 15, according to Connecticut State Police.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Two people are dead after the car they were traveling in ran off the road and collided with a tree near Wallingford early Saturday, authorities said.
According to a Connecticut State Police report, the accident happened shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Route 15. A vehicle driven by Adejah Valentine, 22, of Hartford, was southbound about one mile north of exit 66 when it left the road for unknown reasons, traveled up a grass embankment, and struck a tree, police said.
According to authorities, the vehicle rolled after it hit the tree, ejecting both Valentine and his passenger, 19-year-old Tajay Kevin Walsh of Manchester.

Both men were taken to Midstate Medical Center where they were pronounced dead, police said.
