Aide Fired For Threatening Resident At Wallingford Nursing Home
The state Department of Public Health recently fined the nursing home for the incident, the CT Health I-Team reports.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford has been fined $8,640 by the state Department of Public Health for an incident in which a nurse aide threatened a resident, according to the Connecticut Health I-Team.
Cara Rosner of the Connecticut Health I-Team reports a resident with dementia said a nurse aide asked for money and threatened harm when they didn’t have any. The aide denied the allegation but was fired when it was substantiated, according to Rosner.
