Lynch served as interim coach for the majority of last season.

After serving as interim coach for the majority of last season, Aiden Lynch was officially named Lyman Hall’s new football coach Wednesday night, according to GameTimeCT.com.

Lynch received the full support of the Wallingford Board of Education at Wednesday night’s meeting.

Lynch, a 2000 Lyman Hall graduate, has been on the Trojans’ coaching staff since 2003 and was 1-7 as interim coach after taking over for Rob Marone, who was fired three games into last season for conducting an illegal practice, according to GameTimeCT.
