Lyman Hall Edges Rival Sheehan In Girls Lacrosse Showdown: PHOTOS

The Lyman Hall girls lacrosse team picked up its fifth straight win with a recent victory over cross-town rival Sheehan.

WALLINGFORD, CT — The Lyman Hall girls lacrosse team edged cross-town rival Sheehan 5-4 last Friday at Fitzgerald Field at Lyman Hall High School.

Ellie Madancy led Lyman Hall (9-2) with three goals, while Alyssa Brockett score two goals, and Ellie Gray made 11 saves.

It was the fifth straight win for the Trojans, who also beat Jonathan Law, 23-8 on April 27, and Foran, 8-7 on April 29, in games last week.

Sheehan fell to 5-5 with the loss.

The Titans also defeated Hamden, 12-9, in last week’s action.

Sheehan will play Pomperaug in a non-league game on Friday, May 8, at 7 p.m. in Southbury.
