“There is a hard closure between Ward St. and its intersection with Quinnipiac Street,” police wrote in a post on Facebook. “There are currently no timelines as to when the roadway will reopen. Detour will be posted.”

Sara J’s wrote in a post on its Facebook page that a water main burst in front of the restaurant earlier on Thursday afternoon and they had to “quickly shut down.”

“Based off what a few town workers told us, we are hoping to be back up and running by tomorrow,” the post reads.
