Man Accused Of Selling Drugs Out Of Apartment In Wallingford: Police

Police said K-9 Sevro helped officers find and seize crack cocaine and Clonazepam pills while executing a search warrant on the apartment.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A Wallingford man was arrested Wednesday in connection with selling drugs in town, according to police.

Police said as part of the Wallingford Police Department’s “ongoing enforcement efforts targeting illegal drug activity,” the Crime Suppression Unit developed information regarding narcotics sales occurring in the area of South Cherry Street.

During the investigation, police said Crime Suppression Unit officers developed information indicating that a resident of the Judd Square condominiums on South Cherry Street was “engaged in the sale of illegal narcotics from the residence.”

Police executed a search-and-seizure warrant on the apartment on Wednesday, with the assistance of K-9 Sevro.

“During the search, officers and K-9 Sevro located and seized crack cocaine and Clonazepam pills, a controlled substance,” police wrote in a news release.

Heriberto Lebron, 51, was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics, possession of a controlled substance, and sale of narcotics. He was released after posting a $10,000 bond with a court date of June 5.
