WALLINGFORD, CT — A lightning strike sent a massive tree crashing down on a house in Wallingford during Tuesday’s storms, according to multiple reports.
FOX 61 reports the incident damaged the roof of a home on Woodland Drive in Wallingford.
Homeowner Paul Miller told FOX 61 that the tree was healthy and wouldn’t have fallen if it wasn’t for the lightning strike.
He also said no one was injured during the incident.
WTNH News 8 reports the tree also destroyed a gazebo in the yard.
