Wallingford Police Blotter: July 15 Through July 25, 2026

WALLINGFORD, CT — The following information has been provided by the Wallingford Police Department and does not indicate convictions:

Lydia C. Gomez, 33, of Naugatuck, was arrested July 15 on a charge of second-degree assault. She was released after posting a $5,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 2, according to state judicial records.

Glenn London, 62, of Bridgeport was arrested July 16 on a charge of fifth-degree larceny. He was additionally charged with fifth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 18 for both cases.

Evan Stockman, 22, of Wallingford, was arrested July 17 on a charge of second-degree breach of peace. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Sept. 24.

Camacho N. Gaibor, 36, of Wallingford, was arrested July 19 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs and failure to drive in proper lane. He was also charged on July 21 with third-degree assault. He was released after posting $500 bonds in both cases with a court date of Aug. 31.

Mark S. Baxter, 28, of Wallingford, was arrested July 19 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and failure to drive in proper lane. He was released after posting a $2,500 bond with a court date of Aug. 21.

Shyasia T. Chadd, 29, of West Hartford, was arrested July 20 on charges of fourth-degree larceny, payment card fraud, and criminal attempt at fifth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 25.

Amy J. Moffo, 55, of Meriden, was arrested July 20 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. She was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 31.

Robert Frommelt, 61, of Meriden, was arrested July 21 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs (second offense), drinking while driving, and illegal carry firearm – under the influence of alcohol / drugs. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 28.

James F. Gill, 53, of Meriden, was arrested July 21 on a charge of fourth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond with a court date of Sept. 25. He was additionally charged with three counts of possession of controlled substance – first offense and one count of use of drug paraphernalia. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Sept. 25 on those charges.

Shawn R. Malcarne, 38, of Portland, was arrested July 24 on a charge of sixth-degree larceny. He was released after posting a $15,000 with a court date of Sept. 9.

Antonio Hidalgo-Arias, 41, of Wallingford, was arrested July 25 on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol / drugs, possession of controlled substance – first offense, and operating under suspension. He was released after posting a $1,500 bond with a court date of Sept. 21.

Edward Vega-Aponte, 27, of Middletown, was arrested July 25 on a charge of unsupervised child under 12 in public place / motor vehicle. He was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 21.
