WALLINGFORD, CT — Police are advising residents of road closures and parking bans that will be in effect for an "end of summer" block party Friday in Wallingford.
Wallingford Center Inc. (WCI), in partnership with the Town of Wallingford, will be hosting a community Block Party from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 21.
The festivities will take place on the public streets of North Main Street and Simpson Court.
The following road closures and parking restrictions will be in effect on Friday, Aug. 21 for the block party:
"Parking restrictions will be clearly posted in advance," police wrote in a news release. "Please note: Vehicles parked in violation of these restrictions will be subject to ticketing and towing by the Wallingford Police Department.
"We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to a safe and enjoyable community event!"
