WALLINGFORD, CT — There will be an increased police presence at Lyman Hall High School on Tuesday due to a threat that was determined to be not credible, according to officials.
Lyman Hall received an anonymous tip on Monday evening about a "potential threat to our school," according to Interim Principal Kenneth Daly.
"We immediately called the Wallingford Police Department, and they determined this threat was not credible," Daly wrote in a message to families. "Out of an abundance of caution, there will be an additional police presence on Lyman Hall's campus tomorrow.
"I want to reassure everyone that we take all potential threats to our school seriously. Our partnership with the Wallingford Police Department is essential to keeping our school safe, and we are grateful for our ongoing collaboration."
