Animal Activists Protest Chick-fil-A’s ‘Cow Appreciation Day’ in Wallingford: Report

Wallingford, CT — Chick-fil-A’s “Cow Appreciation Day” was protested by animal activists at the North Colony Road location in Wallingford on Tuesday, according to WTNH News 8.
As part of the restaurant chain’s “Cow Appreciation Day,” customers who wear anything “cow-like” receive a free entrée, according to the Chick-fil-A website.
“Guests in cow attire may select any breakfast, lunch or dinner entrée,” the website states. “Kids dressed like a cow may select a Kid's Meal.”
