Asleep with His Stash: Cops Bust Man Napping with Pound of Pot

WALLINGFORD, CT - A 28-year-old West Springfield, MA, man was arrested early Sunday after police said he was sleeping in his car in the parking lot of Wallingford's Oakdale Theatre with over a pound of marijuana in the vehicle.

Matthew Giaquinto was charged with:

• Possession of marijuana with intent to sell,
• Operating a drug factory,
• Possession of over four ounces of marijuana
• Possession of drug paraphernalia

In addition to the pot, police also seized $1,200 in cash, four grams of hash oil and drug paraphernalia, reports the Meriden Record-Journal

Giaquinto was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court today, April 11.
