Back To School: Wallingford 2022-23 School Calendar

WALLINGFORD, CT — The summer is beginning to come to a close and parents are already back-to-school planning in Wallingford. An essential component to that is school calendars to help parents prepare for the first day in Wallingford.

The first day of school for Wallingford students is Thursday, Sept. 1.

Here’s the list of dates to know for this school year:

Wallingford Schools

• First Day: Thursday, Sept. 1
• Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 23 (early dismissal for students and staff). Nov. 24 and 25, no school
• Holiday Recess: Dec. 23 early dismissal, Dec. 26-Jan. 2, no school
• Winter Break/President's Day: Feb. 17 early release, Feb. 20 no school
• Spring Break: April 7, Good Friday (no school); April 10-14, no school
• Last Day: June 14

Note: The first seven days lost to school closings will be made up at the end of the school year. Any days beyond seven will be made up at the end of the spring vacation, starting with April 14. In the event of more than 12 days, or a school closure after spring vacation, the BOE determines the last day of school.
