Bookstore Among 48 New Businesses Registered In Wallingford In August

WEALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford saw 48 new business registrations in August, according to the Connecticut Business Registry. Residential landlords led the way with six filings, followed by commercial landlords and home remodelers and builders.

Among the new arrivals were The Open Book, a bookstore, Valley View Visions, a jewelry business and Hannah's Curated Mystery Bundles, a gift shop. All 48 organized as limited liability companies.

State registration doesn't guarantee a business is open to customers yet; the filing can precede or follow a launch by months. The full list, with addresses and business categories, is below.
