Brothers Bringing New Latin Restaurant to Wallingford
The restaurant will be housed in the location of several former eateries on Route 5.

Editor’s Note: In case you missed it earlier this week...
Brothers Melvin and Wagner Lopez are bringing upscale Latin cuisine to Wallingford with the opening of their third Ola Restaurant on Route 5, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports the brothers are hoping to open the restaurant by late spring and have been working on renovating the space at 728 North Colony Road, which formerly housed Tavern, Bobby Spur’s BBQ & Brews and JJ’s Raw Bar.
The brothers have two other Ola Restaurant locations in Orange and Bridgeport.
They posted the following message on their Ola Facebook page earlier this week:
We are really excited to announce that we will be adding another Ola Restaurant in Wallingford CT. We want to thank all of you for the success we have had in Orange and Bridgeport. Without you we would not be able to continue our dream of opening more Ola Restaurants throughout Connecticut.
Visit their new Ola Wallingford Facebook page here and the restaurant’s website here.
