Boppa Chua!: A History of the 50's and 60's Through Popular Song
New York Blues Hall of Fame inductee Marc Black and his wife Susan will be your guides through an evening of song, storytelling and laughter through two historically defining decades. You’ll celebrate wonderful songs as diverse as Blue Suede Shoes, Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, and Bob Dylan's Blowin’ in the Wind, as well as tunes by artists ranging from Dean Martin to the Beatles. The program includes a photographic slide show that’s sure to slide you right back in time! Additionally, Marc will perform the top forty hit "Happy" by his own group, Blades of Grass, from their tour with The Doors, Neil Diamond, The Dave Clark Five and Van Morrison. This thought-provoking, multi-media performance is bound to get everyone feeling good and singing along!
