Making Change: A Community Conversation on Tax Equity

State and federal tax systems play a pivotal role in all of our lives. Join us for an important discussion of Connecticut's tax structure, its disproportionate effect on certain demographic groups, and how to ensure tax equity for everyone in our community. The conversation will be facilitated by Tonishia Signore, Policy Director at She Leads Justice and board member for the Connecticut Paid Leave Authority. After the presentation and discussion, attendees will receive resources explaining important policy initiatives for CT's 2027 Legislative Session & tools to help them get involved in advocacy. Spanish-language interpreters will be on hand to provide translation services.
