A caution about CT election 2016

A Wallingford resident on Craig C. Fishbein's philosophy on tax increases: There's no difference between a small and large one. Really?!

A recent Letter to the Editor of the Record-Journal:

In May of this year Wallingford Town Councilor Craig Fishbein cast a deciding vote on the town budget that effectively resulted in a larger tax increase than the amended budget (which he had previously supported) would have produced using a budget surplus.
In justifying his vote, he said there is no difference between a small tax increase and a large one.
Voters in the 90th District may want to ask themselves whether this kind of philosophy is one that they wish to have championed by their representative in Hartford, especially after the tax increases we have seen in the past.
