Celebrating National Nutrition Month at Wallingford Public Library

Wallingford Public Library acknowledges National Nutrition Month with two programs focused on healthy eating habits and lifestyles.

On Wednesday, March 11 at 7:00 p.m. Maryann Meade, RD will present the program Fifty Shades of Green(s) exploring the realities of nutritional claims and their effect on health. Wallingford’s Mayor William W. Dickinson, Jr. has proclaimed March 11, 2015 as Registered Dietician Day in Wallingford.

On March 31 at 6:30 p.m. Wallingford Shop-Rite’s registered dietitian-nutritionist Kailee Conrad, RD will present 15 tips for Wellness in 2015. This program will focus on creating a healthy lifestyle through food, nutrition and exercise. Part two of this program will be presented at the library on April 7 at 6:30 p.m. in cooperation with the Wallingford YMCA.

All programs at the Wallingford Public Library are free and open to the public however seating is limited. Advance registration is appreciated. Please contact the library at 203-265-6754 for more information.
