Computer Virus Hits Wallingford Schools Email

School officials warn of spam emails being sent out from the district's email.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford school officials are warning parents and guardians to be on the lookout for any suspicious emails as the district is dealing with a computer virus that has sent out spam emails.

“We are working with our resources to deal with this as promptly as possible but if you receive an email about invoices or updated contact information - please do not click on any links, just delete it,” officials said in a message to the school community. “If you did click on any links, it is recommended that you change your email password.”
