Coronavirus Wallingford: 350th Jubilee Celebration Postponed
Organizers announced that the event marking the 350th anniversary of Wallingford's founding has been postponed due to the new coronavirus.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Wallingford’s 350th Jubilee Celebration has been postponed due to the new coronavirus, organizers announced Tuesday. The event, which marks the 350th anniversary of Wallingford’s founding, was originally scheduled to take place in June.
The Wallingford 350th Jubilee Committee is rescheduling Jubilee Week to Sept. 26 through Oct. 4, organizers said in a post on Facebook.
“In the coming weeks, we will work closely with each committee and partner to carefully assess Jubilee events with the many other events, including Celebrate Wallingford,” reads a post on the Wallingford350 Facebook page. “We thank founding sponsors Record Journal, Ulbrich Stainless Steels & Special Metals, Inc., Masonicare and Choate Rosemary Hall, community partners, Town Hall departments, and hundreds of donors, sponsors and volunteers for their community support and commitment to our Town.
