Firefighters Injured Battling Tire Fire In Wallingford
Two firefighters were injured while battling a tire fire at a business in Wallingford, according to a report.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a tire fire Tuesday in Wallingford, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports the fire at Tri-State Tire on Dudley Avenue damaged the building’s roof along with a storage trailer. Route 5 and the Amtrak train line were also closed due to the fire, according to the Record-Journal.
The Hamden Fire Department reported around 4:30 p.m. that it was assisting Wallingford firefighters with an industrial fire on Dudley Avenue, according to a post on Twitter. The Meriden Fire Department also provided assistance.
