Dakota the Australian Shephard Mix Brings Joy to Wallingford Residents

Dakota and owner Teri Misbach visit patients at Masonicare Health Center and Village Green weekly.

Dakota, an 8-year-old Australian Shephard mix, is not only putting smiles on people’s faces at the Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford, she brings tears of joy and memories to the residents.

Volunteer Teri Misbach, a Wallingford resident, brings Dakota to Masonicare once a week and they also visit Village Green.

Misbach, who adopted Dakota through petfinder.com six years ago, has been bringing Dakota to Masonicare to visit the residents for the past year and a half.
