Data Breach Affects Wallingford Students

WALLINGFORD, CT — A third-party security breach exposed the personal information of some Wallingford students. Pearson Clinical Assessment notified the school district that names, dates of birth and email addresses were exposed for a limited number of students.

The breach didn't expose Social Security numbers or assessment information, the school district said in a release.

"If your child has been affected by this incident, we will contact you directly via email with additional information," said Director of Information Technology Services Karen Veilleux in a message to families.
