Democrat Considers Mayoral Run In Wallingford: Report
Incumbent Republican William W. Dickinson Jr. has served as mayor of Wallingford for the past 34 years.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Democrat Jared Liu, 40, is considering a run for mayor this November, while longtime Republican Mayor William W. Dickinson Jr. hasn’t decided yet if he will seek re-election, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.
Liu, an associate director of admissions at Yale University’ school of management, told the Record-Journal that he hasn’t made a final decision on his candidacy yet, but is considering it. (To sign up for Wallingford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Dickinson, a 17-term incumbent, traditionally announces his intentions on running for re-election leading up to the Republican Town Committee convention, which is scheduled for July 19, according to the Record-Journal.
