Dolores Celina Jenney, 93, of Milford, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026.

When Dolores wasn't traveling you could find her at the bingo hall at the Italian American club in West Haven hoping for a big win.

Dolores Celina Jenney, 93, of Milford, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026 at Autumn Lake Health Care while surrounded by her loving family. Dolores was born on March 22, 1933 in New Bedford, MA, to the late Levi and Jeanne Lacasse. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard West Jenney.

Dolores worked as an assembler and inspector at Bic Pen in Milford for 40 years before she retired in 1995. In retirement, Dolores was a volunteer at Milford Hospital where she worked greeting visitors at the reception desk. She traveled to many places with her husband Richard by her side. Many of those trips were with a special group of friends from Richards Sikorsky retirement group. When she wasn’t traveling you could find her at the bingo hall at the Italian American club in West Haven hoping for a big win. All winnings would go towards future trips. She also enjoyed reading and sewing.

Dolores is survived by her two beloved children: daughter Susan Piscitelli (husband Anthony) and son Robert Jenney (wife Catherine). Four grandchildren; Bryan J. Piscitelli (partner Wilson Torres), Melissa J. Saunders (husband Brian), Paige DeRiso (husband Anthony), Brooke Guarino (husband Brandon), and great granddaughter Nora Saunders, and great grandson Ronan Saunders and great grandson Thomas DeRiso.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday April16th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 17th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church, 70 Gulf St. Milford CT 06460. Interment will follow at Kings Highway Cemetery, 271 Cherry St., Milford CT 06460.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
