Domino's Pizza Delivery Driver Assaulted, Wallingford Woman Charged: East Haven Police
The two suspects fled the scene but a North Branford police canine helped police find them, police said.
EAST HAVEN, CT — Two people have been charged for assaulting a Domino's pizza delivery driver, police said in a news release Sunday.
A North Branford police K-9 team helped track the two suspects and both were taken into custody, East Haven police said.
At 7:37 p.m. police responded to the area of Old Foxon Road by Foxon Boulevard for a report of an active fight, said Police Lt. Joseph M. Murgo.

Upon arrival it was determined that a delivery driver from Domino's pizza was assaulted, during which there was an attempted robbery following an altercation that started in the street, police said.
Upon arrival, officers provided a broadcast of the two suspects involved later identified as Jonathan Perdue, 27, of Brennan Street, and a Tanya La Kierce, 35, of Wallingford, police said.

Both subjects fled the scene following the altercation. After a canine track provided by the North Branford Police Department, La Kierce was located running out of the back of Brennan Street and Perdue was located on the third floor of a Brennan Street residence, police said.
Both subjects were combative, threatening, and fighting with officers, police said. Perdue and La Kierce are both being held on multiple charges.
Perdue and La Kierce are both charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree threatening, and second-degree criminal attempt to commit robbery. La Kierce is also charged with interfering with police.
Both are being held on $100,000 bond.
