Police will host the Wallingford Lion’s Club Fundraiser Shred Event and Food Drive at Wallingford Police Headquarters, 135 North Main St., from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on April 30.
This event provides area residents and businesses an opportunity to shred important documents for a very reasonable cost, and in a very safe environment. The cost to shred will be $10 per banker’s box of documents and $20 for tall kitchen bags of documents. Persons wishing to take advantage of the service can pull up, remain in their car as the Lions and their assistants take your shred items to the truck. You will be able to see them destroyed in front of you. The Lion’s club asks that you bring a non-perishable food item when you visit!
