Edible Arrangements Announces Grand-Opening Celebration for First Wallingford Store
The celebration will feature free samples, face painting, raffles, giveaways and more. Radio station KC101 will also be there.

Wallingford, CT — Edible Arrangements will unveil its newest location, and its first in Wallingford, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony at its corporate headquarters in Wallingford on Wednesday, July 6.
The new store is located inside of the headquarters, located at 95 Barnes Road, and will serve as the entrance to the corporate office.
The Grand Opening celebration will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. with a 2 p.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony by founder and CEO Tariq Farid along with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, as well as other local and state officials.

“This truly is an exciting time for all of us at Edible Arrangements,” Farid said in a statement. “When I created the very first arrangement, I never dreamed that someday we would be a household name with locations around the world. And we couldn’t have done it without the tremendous support of the leaders and residents from our community and the state of Connecticut. This new store design and product line represents the next phase in the evolution and growth of the brand and the opportunity in front of us is unlimited.”

The occasion will celebrate the opening of the newest Edible Arrangements location, featuring a sleek, colorful design and the launch of the new Edible To Go product line featuring 100% fresh fruit smoothies, Froyo Fruit Blends and more.
The innovative new store, which also serves as the entrance to the corporate office, is the first to be located at the Edible Arrangements headquarters where more than 200 Connecticut residents are employed.
The new prototype creates the foundation for Edible Arrangements moving forward and features ground-breaking, WOW-worthy elements such as bright pineapple daisy lights and etched glass inspired by the Edible Arrangements Basket Logo. The new look is designed to reinforce the fun and whimsical image that Edible Arrangements has come to represent over the past 16 years.
From a single store in East Haven in 1999, Edible Arrangements has grown to more than 1,300 stores worldwide and has created opportunities for more than 700 franchisees to pursue their dream of business ownership.
Edible Arrangements was recently ranked one of the 10 Best Franchise Investments by Forbes magazine and one of the Top Global Franchises for 2016 by Entrepreneur magazine.
