Elementary School Principal Leaving Wallingford School District

The principal is leaving for a new position in another town.

WALLINGFORD, CT — For the second time in less than three years, Mary G. Fritz Elementary School in Wallingford will be looking for a new principal. Mary Poisson, who started at the school in the summer of 2016, is stepping down at the end of the school year to take an administrative position in Glastonbury, according to the Meriden Record-Journal.

The Record-Journal reports Poisson, whose salary as Fritz principal is $144,296, will become the director of language arts and reading for pre-K to grade 6 in the Glastonbury school district.
