
Calling all kids ages 5-16: if you’ve ever wanted to drive a real racecar, this is your chance! Silver City Quarter Midget Club in Meriden, Conn., will be hosting an Arrive & Drive on Sun, Sept. 30 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The cost is $20/per child for ten laps around the track. Car and safety equipment is provided. There will also be a swap meet for those interested in purchasing quarter midgets, parts and/or gear.

Silver City Quarter Midget Club, located behind the American Legion at 835 Hanover Road in Meriden, has been putting children on the track to success for 55 years. From the ages of five to 16, our kids grow from novice drivers to confident, skilled racers. Each race day is made possible by all Silver City members volunteering their time and talents to ensure a smooth running season that lasts from from March through October. Silver City Quarter Midget Club is sanctioned by Quarter Midgets of America, an international organization with 43 member clubs serving more than 2400 members. QMA was founded in 1960 on the principles of family togetherness, sportsmanship and respect for motor-driven vehicles.
