Eversource Energy Supports The Wonder Room

October 1, 2018 – Lynn Vasquez (center), Community Relations Specialist for Eversource Energy, presents a $2,500 donation to Wallingford Public Library’s Director Jane Fisher (left) and Head of Children’s Services Sunnie Scarpa (right). The donation will help the Library transform an area in its Children's Room to create The Wonder Room, a dynamic and flexible space that will be used for 21st century children’s programming. The Wonder Room will feature a mini-makerspace for children’s STEM and maker programs including “Collaboration Station”, “Mini-Makers,” and “Break-it Make-it Lab”; an age-appropriate setting for baby & toddler programs; and furnishings conducive to young students who wish to work individually and/or collaboratively on assignments and projects.
