The Flavors of India: Food and Film

Wallingford Public Library and Wallingford restaurant Kender’s Indian Palace present The Flavors of India, a food and film event on Wednesday, July 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the Library’s Community Room. Advance registration is required.

Wallingford restaurant, Kender’s Indian Palace will share a sampling of traditional Indian cuisine and owner Kulwinder Kaur will be on hand to answer questions about Indian food. Immediately following the tasting at approximately 6:30 p.m., the feature film The Hundred-Foot Journey will be screened. The film stars Helen Mirren and Om Puri and is rated PG.

This event is part of the Read ‘Em and Eat series of programming supporting the library’s adult summer reading program. All programs and events at the Wallingford Public Library are free and open to the public. Seating is limited.
