Fresh Food Market Opens in Wallingford
The store opened up a new location in Wallingford after closing its North Haven market.

WALLINGFORD, CT — Less than a week after closing its North Haven location of 20 years, Connecticut Fresh Food & Produce Market opened its new store in Wallingford on Tuesday.
Owner Dennis Kovacs told the Meriden Record-Journal that the older North Haven store had limitations but the business can grow in the new space, which is about 2,500 square feet larger than the previous location.
The market, formerly known as Connecticut Natural Foodmart, is located at 920 South Colony Road in Wallingford.
The Record-Journal reports the market gets it produce from more than 15 local farms, including Blue Hills Orchard in Wallingford and Norton Brothers Fruit Farm in Cheshire.
