Frontier Presents Wallingford Public Schools with $13K Technology Grant
Grant will be used to buy new equipment for community programming

Frontier Communications recently presented Wallingford Public Schools with a $13,241 grant as part of its Public Educational and Government Programming (PEG) Grant Program.
The PEG grant program is designed to increase the quality and quantity of community access productions and educational initiatives supported by local TV stations and public schools.
For WPS, the grant will be used for the purchase of new equipment to improve the content of their programming and to expand the connections to the community.

Karen Veilleux, Information Technology Director for WPS adds, “The grant from Frontier will allow us to improve our audio and video recording for Wallingford Public Schools meetings and events. We look forward to producing enchanced content for WPS Channel 19 and our YouTube Site.”
Frontier presented 15 cable access TV stations and public school systems across Connecticut with PEG grants totaling $225,000.
