Gas Station Robbed At Knifepoint In Wallingford: Police

The robbers left the store in a stolen vehicle, according to police.

WALLINGFORD, CT — A gas station was robbed at knifepoint early Thursday morning in Wallingford, according to police.

Police responded to the Sunoco Gas Station at 810 South Colony Rd. just before 2 a.m. on the report of an armed robbery, according to Sgt. Stephen Jaques.

Jaques said the robbers, a man and a woman, used a knife to threaten the clerk. Both were wearing partial facemasks, according to Jaques.

They stole cash from the register and left in a blue Mitsubishi Mirage bearing Connecticut registration BB37250 that was stolen out of Hartford at the time of the incident, according to Jaques.
