July 4th 2022: Find Fireworks Near Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT — After two years of cancellations and modifications, residents in cities and counties across the country are looking forward to many of the traditional Independence Day activities that mark the summer holiday. July 4 is tomorrow, so there’s still time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store this July 4 near Wallingford:

July 4 Festivities

What: Middletown Fireworks Festival

Where: The festival will take place along the Connecticut River at Harbor Park, and on the front lawn of the City's Municipal Building at 245 DeKoven Drive.

When: Sunday, July 3. The festival will kick off at 5 p.m. with live music, family festivities, and numerous food vendors throughout the harbor area and along DeKoven Drive. Fireworks will commence just after dark, at approximately 9:30 p.m.

What: New Haven Fourth Of July Fireworks

Where: Atop East Rock, best viewing from Wilbur Cross High School

When: Monday, July 4, at 9 p.m.

What: Meriden Independence Day Fireworks

Where: Hubbard Park in Meriden

When: Friday, July 8

What: Fireworks & Concert at HPCC in Orange

Where: 525 Orange Center Rd

When: July 9

What: Guilford Fireworks

When: July 9 at dusk

Where: Guilford Fairgrounds, Lovers Lane in Guilford. There is no rain date.

What: North Branford Fireworks

When: Saturday, Aug. 6 at 9:15 p.m.

Where: North Branford Potato & Corn Festival, Auger Field. There is no rain date.

What: Savin Rock Fireworks Spectacular in West Haven

Where: Bradley Point

When: Sept. 3 with rain date of Sept. 5. Fireworks to begin around 8 p.m.
