"I Hear a Red Crayon" - A Conversation with the Author Bonnie Feuer
Taken from the author's own experience growing up with a sibling on the autism spectrum, the presentation and discussion with Bonnie Feuer will explore all of the "challenges and glories" of life and family dynamics with a brother or sister with an autism spectrum disorder. Books will be available for sale at the event; Saturday, June 25, at the Wallingford Public Library, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. This is a free presentation, but registration is required.

Spring Boot Camp "Transition:OMG!" Popular Training Program Comes to South WindsorBoot Camp "Transition OMG!" provides an intensive, four session overview to guide those helping ASD students to make that leap from teen to adult! Schedule-friendly, non-consecutive Saturday morning sessions - next session is June 11th "Issues in Transitioning". Registration is required for this free training; thanks to a grant from SBM Charitable Foundation and sponsored by SWAN Parenting Programs at South Windsor Youth and Family Services.
