Library Launches New Season of Mother-Daughter Book Club

Book group holds first meeting of the 2012-13 season on Wednesday.

The Wallingford Public Library offers a great opportunity for mother-daughter bonding. It will kick off a new season of its Mother-Daughter Book Club on Wednesday, November 7, 2012, at 7 p.m.

The book club—the oldest of its kind in Connecticut, according to the library’s website—is for girls in grades 6 – 12 and their mothers or adult female friends. Members meet to talk about their favorite books and make some new friends.
