Squirrels in Wallingford having good days. Running in the sun squirrels galore. Many out chasing each other most looking for something to eat. There are small ones and bigger ones and one with no tail. I don't know if the tail was damaged or if it is a different kind of squirrel. They seem to get along good with birds of all sizes. It is so funny when they find something to eat they carry it off like nuts in a shell and eat in private. They can carry 2 nuts in a shell at a time. They stand up on their back legs and hold the food in their front paws like hands cupped together. If you offer them something and they want it but are scared they will come toward you with their back legs spread open and close to the ground not all but the younger ones do. Some pictures of a few days. They have big eyes and are furry it is hard to tell one from the other unless the color or tail is different. I really am nuts over squirrels.
