Everyday children are lost in the nefarious winds of abuse and neglect. As a community it is our duty to seek out these children and give them the foundation needed on which to build a successful life ahead. Presenting an evening of fine art crafted by local artists, Frames for Futures is a community event designed to support a worthy and prevalent cause. Join us on March 28th to appreciate the talent of high school and professional artists while bidding on your favorite pieces and showing your support for the less fortunate children of Connecticut. All profits accrued will benefit Children in Placement, a charity that assists mistreated children in finding safe and permanent homes to grow up in.

This year I am hosting “Frames for Futures” in an effort to bring the local community together to support our less fortunate youth. As a high school student blessed with a loving family and supportive network, my heart goes out to my counterparts who unfortunately do not have these luxuries. I was given the perfect opportunity to take action on their behalf when I was selected to participate in a district-wide Capstone Pilot Program. As my project, I have taken on the task to plan and host an art auction. “Frames for Futures” is the perfect opportunity to marvel at the talent of local teenage and professional artists while enjoying an evening of entertainment and refreshments. All are welcome to attend and bid on their favorite pieces, the funds garnered from guests will all go towards advocating for Connecticut’s children. Admission tickets are free. You can reserve them here or walk in on the day of the event. We hope to see you on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm as we strive to make sure every child receives an upbringing conducive to success.
