Longtime Hockey Coach Steps Down At Sheehan In Wallingford
Dave Festa has announced his resignation after 14 years at Sheehan High School, according to a report.
WALLINGFORD, CT — Sheehan hockey coach Dave Festa has stepped down after leading the program for the past 14 years, according to the Record-Journal.
The Record-Journal reports Festa, who compiled a 168-129-5 record during his tenure, officially stepped down this week.
Festa told the Record-Journal it was “not an easy decision to make.” Sheehan, which was 2-18 the year before Festa took over the program, is in the final stages of entering a co-op heading into next winter, according to the Record-Journal.
